Dear Parent/ Guardian, I hope that you are safe and well at this time. We find ourselves in very strange times indeed and many families are currently being affected by the Covid-19 outbreak. As a school we recognise this and are willing to support our families and community. Our staff have been busy working together compiling work which was sent home with the pupils last week. We hope that the pupils are finding this work engaging and beneficial. Due to the fact that all schools will not now be re-opening before September, our staff continue to work hard compiling fun activities, exercises, links to websites, and much more in order to help our pupils learn at home during this period of closure. I acknowledge that some families do not have internet access, laptops or smart devices for pupils to engage with all these suggestions and we are also very much aware that some parents may not be able to dedicate the amount required to helping their child at home due to changes in working hours or commitments to caring for other family members. Please don’t worry, as these suggested activities should be viewed in terms of a menu of work rather than a prescribed list. The school does not wish to place added stress on families, but rather to support you. Much of this suggested work has been compiled with the aim of the child being able to complete independently, with minimal parental instruction. We understand that parents/ guardians have enough going on at this time without unnecessarily adding to the workload. The links to websites will be listed below, while individual pupil work will be uploaded on each class page, which are sub menus of this page. The pupil work will be uploaded by Sunday 29th March, ready for the following week. We will keep you updated with more resources and guidance as we receive it. For queries, please email email@example.com or alternatively leave a comment on our Contast Us page.
